In my opinion, not anymore. Approximately 10 years ago, when companies were happy to drop 120,000SEK on a basic site, it was overpriced.
Currently, creating a site takes approximately a quarter of the time for the same quality.
The problem now is maintenance and backups, which are often neglected and can lead to you needing a new site should your existing site break down.
There is a huge range of factors including but not limited to quality of content, URL, titles (both type and words), tags, meta descriptions, content structure, keywords, backlinks, page speed, security, mobile usability, authority and more.
If this seems overwhelming, you are not alone. I do not try to tick off every item on this list immediately when creating a new site. Your primary goal should be to start with the big, easy ones and then work through the rest over time. Gradually increasing rank and trust.
The maintenance plans I offer are monthly, and you are under no obligation to buy 12 months upfront or anything else.

While I have set rates for standard jobs you can view them as guidelines. Larger jobs require extra work and, therefore, more payment. Smaller jobs are obviously the opposite.
I genuinely enjoy helping those starting a new venture or who had bad past experiences with web developers. Therefore, depending on your specific case I can tailor something to suit.
